Lotus is the Apple of the Auto World. Style most definitely with substance.

So I'm going with the orange then!
And the Exige is the iPad of the Lotus range – you know that you need it even if you are not entirely sure why!
It is a sporty little number and for all intents and purposes is a two-seater – that suits a single-about-town like me. But I might feel a bit guilty when visting my family – my current Mini One cannot carry much in the way of a family – a bachelor uncle here, an elderly grand-couple there certainly, but anything larger and the family has to be split up. But on that basis I would have to purchase a Vauxhall Zafira – just so I can carry my relatives around in comfort – am I being too selfish here to say ‘no thanks’!?
But is the Exige a bit too raw for me compared to the pampered comforts of my current Mini?

Exige in Tablet!
None of the modern comforts I have been spoiled to take for granted like air-conditioning, sat-nav and sun-visors! Well I can always open a window – that’s better for the environment too even if that also means the environment, both foul and fair, getting into my nostrils and clothes. And for finding my way I can use the Tom Tom on my iPhone and for protecting against the sun I can wear sun-glasses (on the occasions the sun puts in an appearance in Scotland!).
The Exige is very noisy too – well then I will just have to turn up its radio even louder to drown out its engine! – and which radio will be linked to the music on my iPhone. Ha – but then I won’t be able to use my iPhone for the sat-nav – getting lost or travelling without music – modern dilemmas!
Yes – throw up any objections against the Exige and just like the iPad I can find reasons to refute them, however contrived, the Exige ultimately justified.
The only issue remains now the colour. And the colours available do exceed the iPad choices of black or white. The orange looks very fine, but the red looks spiffy, and then there’s the yellow…
